A purpose-led innovator with a passion for sustainable solutions, Dr. Avila combines her expertise in biomedical engineering and biomaterials to lead AlgaEarth's mission of revolutionizing eco-friendly packaging. Her vision drives our commitment to creating a more sustainable future.
Dr. Scott Sell
Dr. Scott is currently associate dean of undergraduate education and professor of biomedical engineering at Saint Louis University. He earned his doctorate in biomedical engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University.
Gwen Hogan
Gwen is a senior at Saint Louis University, pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering. She serves as a research assistant at AlgaEarth, contributing to laboratory experiments and consumer insight initiatives focused on sustainable and degradable packaging solutions.
Ivette M. Alvarez
Ivette is a content illustrator and designer with over 20 years of experience in visual arts and digital design. Currently a Ph.D. candidate in Child Development at Erikson Institute/Loyola University, she brings a deep understanding of healing and human growth to her work.
